While the world’s social media is inundated with populist commentary on the coronavirus, here is a tempered comment on what our appropriate response should be.
Above article refers to Bill Gate’s position on Covid-19. In this he mentioned the importance of vaccines.
A vaccine to interrupt the transmission of tuberculosis is also needed, perhaps just as importantly as one for Covid-19 (Coronavirus). In contrast, currently there have been 3200 deaths in total attributed to Covid-19, whilst according to the World Health Organisation, 4400 lives are lost per day to TB.
