When a CAB member visited TASK HQ last year, She loved the facility and thought it would be great to invite the learners to see and learn about Clinical Research.

She had to organise and get the buses and transport sponsored. She contacted Vela, the community Engagement Officer regarding a visit to the building.  The staff didn’t anticipate that it would be 120 children. But, They were up for it.

Vela did a TB presentation and gave the learners a background on TB Alta Mawela presented on Sputum collecting and transport, One of the Lab Technologists, Chaldene! spoke on TB under a microscope Marthalize concluded the day with a presentation on TASK, Research and why we do research.

The learners asked lots of questions and won a few prizes.
